A Champion for Hercules:
Alexander Walker-Griffin’s passion for civic engagement began at age 10 and led to leadership roles in college and impactful public policy work. As Mayor of Hercules, he initiated key programs like the Small Business Grant and Equal Pay Ordinance. He also serves as a CalGuard Army officer and he holds a masters degree in government from Johns Hopkins university

Initiated the Hercules Small Business Grant and Rental Relief Program, providing essential financial assistance to local businesses

Championed the funding for accessible swing sets, ensuring that children with disabilities have equal opportunities to enjoy the city's parks.

Passed the Hercules Equal Pay Ordinance to combat pay discrimination and the Electrification Ordinance for 100% electric new developments.

Introduced and passed Hercules' first Senior Health Day, focusing on the well-being of the city's senior residents.
